Road to Recovery

When most people visit our office, it is usually due to pain or other symptoms and the desire for "Relief Care." The holes in the diagram represent each visit starting at the lower left of the chart. As you can see, when someone first starts care, there can be two paths, faster results or slower results. In fact with the slower results, it is not uncommon to actually see an initial increase in symptoms as treatment begins and the injured tissue is started on its "Road to Recovery." This is represented by the lower dip along the "slower results" path.

Eventually, these two paths reach the same point and you will have a decision to make as you reach a "fork in the road." The point shown in this illustration is that as you improve, you will eventually be symptom free long before the healing ends.

The problem is still there.

Will you enter into the endless cycle of relapse followed by treatment until symptom free repeated over and over; or will you choose to continue your healing process, even though your symptoms are gone, until you have entered wellness care to avoid this unecessary cycle?
